Great work. Make sure that you'll be able to support it with your analysis throughout the essay. (Should be focused on imagery/diction showing that Katniss is both noble and rebellious.)

What does that struggle lead the reader to discover? I know that the character struggles, but why does Achebe create these conflicts? What truths might they reveal about the character or about humanity?

What does this "emotional stage" lead the reader to understand? There needs to be something that you can PROVE in your essay. Add a claim to your thesis statement that you can justify through your analysis.

All people will experience "bad and good stuff" (replace with academic register, please.) Why do you believe this character was able to achieve his goal anyway? Was it because of his perseverance? Intelligence? Courage? Optimism? What can the reader learn from this character's life? Identify a quality in the character, and include it in the thesis statement.

This is great summary and background information to include in your introduction, but your thesis statement should make a claim. What is the significance of the novel? What does the character teach the reader? What do you think the author wants you to think about after reading the novel? Those types of questions will guide you to create a thesis statement.

A genius mindset always makes the most interesting people, like Joseph Stalin and Martin Luther King Jr. The same can easily be applied to the young mind of Alex, a teenager living in a nice city that can use just a small touch of the old "ultraviolence" that leads Alex to rape, vandalize, and murder the town red in his image
